CNC for Education

Burns Tools, along with General CNC, has made a strong commitment to helping schools integrate CNC technology into their woodshop programs.

In 2010, Burns joined General in their vision to integrate CNC technology into educational programs in New England and across the US. Of course the significance of this is that schools can have confidence that they not only have the support of General's technical support department also have a distributor to assist with everything from machine set up and initial training to after sale service when needed.

General will be exhibiting at the ACTE (Association for Career and Technology Education Conference) in Atlanta GA which is held Novemer 29- December 1). If you plan to attend this event we encourage you drop by General's booth for a visit. Here is the link to the conference https://www.acteonline.org/vision.aspx. For those of you who have never attended, this is the largest technical education conference in the country and a very impressive event.
