New Top 20 Biscuit Joiner from Lamello

There is a new Top 20 Biscuit Joiner from Lamello! The TOP 20 S4 Has a powerful 800 watt, 7.25 amp motor instead of the 600 watt motor of the previous Top 20 S3 model. This is the most powerful biscuit joiner motor ever from Lamello. This motor will also have a soft start feature as did the previous model. The brake on this tools is more responsive, stopping the cutter from rotating sooner than the previous model did. The design of this motor housing dispels motor fan air towards the front of the tool instead of upwards which clears sawdust from the work pieces that are being grooved. The Top 20 S4 will come standard in a wooden case with a dust collection bag.

We still have some Top 20 S3 tools in stock at 2008 prices. Once that stock is depleted the Top 20 S3 will no longer be available. We also have the new 800 watt TOP 20 S4 in stock and are processing orders for this new powerful machine.

New Tool: Freud Doweling Joiner

This week we got to see the FDW710K Freud Doweling Joiner. This innovative new tool is a time-saver that allows a woodworker to create perfect 32mm shelf pins without the expense of a large doweling machine. The other benefit is that it is completely portable, and comes at a very reasonable $329 price tag!

In addition to the shelf pins, the dowel joiner allows for strong joints in furniture. This tool will compete with the biscuit joiner and the Festool Domino system.

We also got a look at the new Freud JS104K "Avanti" Joiner. This biscuit joiner has a lot of nice features, and a nice price point at $149.99.

Milwaukee Tool has launched two new unique and innovative products: A cordless copper tubing cutter and a cordless hacksaw.

The M12 Copper Tubing Cutter is specifically designed for cutting copper with speed and versatility. With a 12V LITHIUM-ION battery and ultra efficient gearing, the 2471-22 performs up to 200 cuts on a single charge. Freud has just launched a new line of industrial DIABLO mixers. You'll notice a new ergonomic 'stearing wheel'-type design for maximum control and comfort. There are two models available:

• The DM800E DIABLO Mixer by Freud has a 7 Amp, variable speed, soft-start motor.
• The DM1602E DIABLO Mixer by Freud has a 10 Amp, 2 gear variable speed, soft-start motor.
